September President's Message

September President's Message

After a fantastic day together at our MSCA Golf Tournament last week, I was reminded again that our members and the relationships we build with one another, make MSCA so special!

It was great to see so many members, industry partners, and friends come together at Shining Rock. Beyond the golf, it was an opportunity to step away from our day-to-day responsibilities, reconnect with longtime colleagues, meet some new faces, and simply enjoy catching up. Thank you to everyone who participated and especially to our sponsors and supporters who helped make the tournament such a success.

Now, we have one more opportunity at our upcoming Fall Summit on October 14th to bring MSCA members together before we close out our quarterly events for 2026. We are putting together an outstanding day that combines relevant industry education, opportunities to connect with manufacturers, distributors and service providers, valuable networking, and, of course, some fun at Supercharged in Wrentham!

I am especially excited to announce our session Partnering with Law Enforcement to Reduce False Alarms, facilitated by Major Allan Rutledge (Ret.), National Law Enforcement Liaison with the Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), and Chief Michael J. Bradley, Jr. (Ret.), Executive Director of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association. This will be an important opportunity to bring the alarm industry and law enforcement together for a productive conversation about false alarm reduction and how we can continue working collaboratively.

We all have busy schedules, and it can be easy to tell ourselves we will make the next event. However, there isn't another quarterly meeting this year, so this is your last chance to participate this year and exchange ideas, learn from one another, strengthen relationships, and make connections that can benefit our businesses and our industry.

If you haven't registered yet, I encourage you to do it now and consider bringing someone from your company who hasn't attended an MSCA event before. The more people we bring into these conversations, the stronger our association and our industry become.

We started this year with a commitment to greater engagement, stronger education, and more opportunities to connect and we are excited to fulfill that commitment once again in a couple weeks. I look forward to seeing everyone at Supercharged on October 14th!

Sincerely,

Paul Wright
