General Membership Meeting!

MSCA will recognize Membership Milestones,
the Stanley C. Wescott Award Recipient,
Elect your 2020 Board of Directors and
Upcoming Changes and Future Goals with
the Board of State Examiners of Electricians.

It is important to be active in your Industry!
The MSCA’s Legislative Committee held an Open Forum on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

During this open forum our Legislative Committee and Members
of the Association formulated a Legislative Strategy for the next 3 – 5 Years
to Protect and Better Support the Electronic Systems Industry!

A few topics that were discussed during this Forum were;
What does the future look like for D Systems Technician License?

How could the License structure change for the better?
How can permitting improve?
What work needs licensing and permitting vs. what doesn’t?

The MSCA was recently notified a handful of seats on the
MA Electrical Board are up for renewal.
(We hear that some incumbents will not renew their applications.)

Are you interested in Representing the Industry?

                    Some of the Benefits of serving in this important way:

                                         ~ Be at the table early when key industry changes take shape
                                         ~ A chance to give back to the industry and to the association

Recent Personnel Changes at the Board of 
State Examiners of Electricians …..

As many of you may have heard, Ada Alfonso has been fired from her position as
the Executive Director of the MA Board of Electricians in September 2019.

Ada was relieved of her duties because she reported that multiple sex offenders were
allowed to renew their Trades Licenses or sit for the test to obtain a NEW License!

Ada worked tirelessly for the Industry and ensured the successful
License Renewal Process that end on July 31, 2019.

A personal letter empathizing actual experiences of working with her
should be sent to the following 4 key players and as an Association,
